This thread is to discuss all of the games, the manga, and even the anime. Especially the topic of the upcoming Pokemon X and Y on the 3DS.

Well, I know I speak for everyone here when I say this, but I'm freakin' pumped for X and Y. Gonna be sweet.

I just play the games at my leisure. I hate competitive battling and EV training, it takes too much time and I'm just lazy.
The anime is a corner-stone for most everyone's childhood.
The manga is actually pretty good. Though, I stopped about half-way through the GSC arc.
I'm probably not gonna get X and Y because I kinda wanna see what the game is like and see everyone's reactions and complaints.

While I really do enjoy the games (like all of them so far), I much prefer to just play something like Emerald 386 or other emulator games in that vein because I always want everything. All the stuff. I have to have all the frickin Pokemon to be happy, so those ones are cooler to me. Plus, the fact that all the random battles are re-engineered, you can get some sweet Pokemon right off the bat. OP Ponyta to pwn all the grass Pokemon you encounter in the beginning anyone?

I play the games and I read the manga sometimes, but I grew out of the anime about 6 years ago.

You can't out grow the anime, even if its bad, its still apart of our childhood.
Nostalgia is overrated.

I tried watching the old Digimon anime that I used to love. While it's still pretty good for what it is, its also pretty childish, so it's hard for me to watch it anymore. So I guess I have to agree at least in part with Corgi.
