Captain Jean-Luc Picard 2UG

Legendary Creature - Human

Whenever a player casts a spell, if it does not share a name with a card in that player's graveyard, draw a card.

Whenever a creature enters the battlefield, if it does not share a name with a card in that player's graveyard, draw a card.

At the end of the turn, if 3 or more cards were drawn this turn, transform ~.

Locutus of Borg (UB Color Identity)

Legendary Creature - Human Construct

When this creature transforms into ~, put X +1/+1 counters onto ~, where X equals the number of cards in your hand.

Whenever ~ blocks or is blocked, you may pay 1UB. If you do, remove a +1/+1 counter from ~ and place it on target blocking or blocked creature. That creature becomes a Construct in addition to its other types, and is blue and black in addition to its other colors. Gain control of that creature for as long as you control ~ or it has a +1/+1 counter on it.

When ~ has no +1/+1 counters on it, transform ~.

4/4

I have other ideas, but none that I can actually formulate into cards at the moment.

Looks like that would be decent cards. When you will be making them?
