I just made five manticores, one for each Color.

They're all CC4 and have 3 toughness.

 

Tell me what you think about them:

First of all i like pictures you mimicked MtG style almost perfect, as for creatures, they seem fine.

 

For Shadowhunter Lion everything is fine except for that entarence, deal 3 damage is high, i would lower it to 2, because when he is exiled he will be played each time you are being attacked so 3 is to much, even 2 is but.

 

Water Lion is fine its a 4 for 4 so he is fine.

 

Green one is way overpowered i mean he can be abused in so many ways, and compared to his cost his power can go way beyond the avarage. Try making him 1/3 or even 0/3.

 

I like Red one he is awesome and not OPed and White is the most balanced yet so good job on him.

By my opinion these of the greatest card i saw but like milenco said the green and black one need some little change.

So for the black one, I was also unsure about how to scale the liveloss. wouldn't it be enough to take a way the "without paying it's mana cost" from his last ability? I also thought about making him enter the battlefield tapped, like geralf's Messenger does, but i'd feel bad about that in Terms of his Background. waiting in the shadows ready to attack and then enters tapped...

 

Yes you're right the green one is to op.

Maybe I just cut the trample ability of wildhunter Lion, or Change it into an active ability like "tap three untapped creatures you control, proudhunter Lion gets +1/+0 until end of turn."

that would also disable this ability to Trigger even on himself when he attacks.

I think you can just remove the cant be target by non green spell and reduce is attack by one and it will be balanced.

and what is with the hunter after like mist or shadow and why have the last word be lion?

why DOES THE BLACK MANTICORE NOT HAVE DEATHTOUCH, DEATHTOUCH IS THE ONLY TOUCH FOR BLACK, then again all the manticores having deathtouch would make sense because they all have poisonous stingers on their tails.
