These are all cards based off Gaea, Mother Earth:

1. Gaedoroean, Gaea's Missionary

2. Bane of the Worlds

3. Andor-Kar, the Risen One

4. Gaea's Initiative, Polervine

Not that I have anything against reusing artworks, that are already in use for existing MtG-cards, but Andor-Kar looks identical to the Reaperking and SERIOUSLY:

This freaks me out.

I'd rather use a previous card's artwork than have no artwork.

Yeah, but that one looks like Fiddlesticks on acids. It's so unsettling...

It's an Elemental that's G/R/B. Of course it's unsettling.  Any comments on the cards?

Nothing in particular. But again I did notice the common tendency of only making the big cards of a set; Were are the small creatures and instants etc? Most of these are legendary creatures, with surprisingly simple effects; By far too few too actually get a grasp of the game feel you were going for. Also, what's up with the name Gaea? Is it like, Gaia with an E, or what?

Gaea is the Greek god of the earth.  It's a pretty much big damage, no prevention, mostly creature set.

There are weird pronunciations of the name Gaia, especially such weird stuff like Gäa (gotta love those points us Germans put on every letter) but that's the first time I ever saw it written Gaea.

It's weird, but thats the truth  We learned about her a couple years ago in school.  What about the cards, I might make an entire set of 100 cards.  Should I?

Woh there! 100? We've got enough of them Junds already. Just make a small set for the start. Like, not more than 20 cards.

If you want to make a set based in the actual Ancient-Greek Titan of Earth, try to be a little more... flavorful?

All these cards share this theme of passively canceling control-abilities, but there is no actual connection to the source material.

These cards do not feel anything like the passive, wise, but on the other hand sorrowful force that is Gaia.

How about some cards that refer to some myths around her? Like her introducing Prometheus to the cruelty of mortal life, the golden apples (YES, the golden apples Heracles was sent to steal as one of his tasks. Them tasty apples were a wedding gift from Gaia to Zeus and Hera), or maybe even her role in the whole gigantomachy-thingy?

Also, why Jund? If there is one ancient god you can keep at one color, it's Gaia. Green ALL the way!

I was originally going to make it just Gruul, or maybe mono-green, but that didn't seem right as I wanted it to be based on how Gaea controls more than you think.  So, damage prevention goes against nature, but preventing damage was a red thing, so you know.... don't know why I added the black, just an impulse thing.

The impulsive fervor of red does not really fit her passive nature (no pun intended, although I adore its existence).

But especially the greed and ambition of black is the exact opposite of Gaia. Not even white (usually green's bff) does really fit.

All the colors are so ACTIVE, and disciplined, or on the other hand too chaotic (GOD DAMNIT another pun!).

Maybe blue could work, but you'd have to be VERY creative to not totally destroy the flavor with it.
