Well, for one. All angels in this game are girls, and instead of double strike, give him Vigilance. The reason for this that most angels in this game have vigilance. Other than that this card is preatty balanced and preatty cool.

Which is actually VERY contradictory to most origin stories for angels/ definitions, and also you just insulted Tariel, Reckoner of Souls, so watch your back. As for the angel himself, I would drop the double strike or give him battalion for double strike.

It's not a well known fact, but a common misconception. Angels are not female, they are genderless constructs, living creatures created by various superior beings. They are genderless, but usually take a physical form representing their alignment/mentality/powers, as well as their tasks. Since nearly all angels are associated with white mana and serve as guardians, protectors, and emissaries, beacons of order and hope, it is only natural for them to be given and/or choose a female physique, since this is (usually) the most direct symbolism you can associate them with. But if you want to, you can give them beards and horns in whatever quantity you desire; That's one of the greater assets of character design: Bearded Angelic Lumberjacks.

Well you see, Magic is not a definite yes or no in lore, angels are very complex based upon which belief you are pulling from, and if you are pulling from the common beilef of magic lore followers and the general online consensus, that is how they are defined, but there are MANY other views, most of them religious and believed by the followers of the religion. So really, the fact that ALMOST all angels in magic are PORTRAYED as female is irrelevant. There are certainly opinions, but there are NO facts for angels.

Tariel is an existing magic card and he is portrayed as "male" I was joking because you called him a girl.

Erm, well, the thing is, Tariel is a girl. Observe:  http://media.wizards...n_2560x1600.jpg

As consolidation, have an angel that actually is male:  http://gatherer.wiza...ltiverseid=1652

While Trample and hexproof are not normal white-red abilities the flying double strike has a very red white angelic feel so both flavour-wise and colour-wise i would drop the tap and mabye lower power to 4 and raise colourless cost to 8 to better balance it other ability fits angels and red-white. Maybe give it lifelink but that would need a bit of tweaking with the power. the card itself is very good just a few minor scaling tweaks so that it wouldn't be too overpowered but we have seen overpowered angels before.
