This is indeed a good first card.
Just some little nitpicks: Terms like Summoner, Necromancer, etc, are usually generalized within the type Wizard and the proper syntax for the tokens would be "Put a 2/1 black demon creature token onto the battlefield".
The -0/-2 is rather interesting as a drawback, since instead of having to tap him, you can choose whether to use him as a constant token-factory or just push out two 2/1 tokens at once; Although I don't play on tournaments, I can imagine, that a turn 2 opportunity like this would even be viable on a competitive level on play.

I may be fuzzy on the rules but can't you just activate this a bunch of times before letting the ability resolve to effectively negate the drawback and make a swarm of 2/1s?

Not really. The -0/-2 is a fixed part of the same effect, so you can activate it up to two times, with the second activation killing it off, since its toughness is reduced to zero in the process.
Although no wait... HELL YEAH you can! WOOOOOOOO!!!

No seriously, this is a HUGE problem with this card. How about, instead of having it get -0/-1 until end of turn, you put a -1/-1 counter on it as a part of the activation cost?

Here's an idea put in the text you may activate this ability only when you would be able to cast a sorcery or words to that effect to prevent stack chaining and infinite tokens.

VERY broken, especially in a multiplayer game. It essentially translates to "free" 2/1 tokens on each person's turn. The -0/-2 is an interesting idea to limit it somewhat though. If the ability cost mana, it would be more balanced, or if it cost more life.

This is a nice idea but then what happens when you splash green for: Melira, Sylvok Outcast.

Thats a but to soon to combo off and with to few cards, it need to be worded as Chaoscal says, so it only works in your turn.
But the -0/-2 is a great limiter. Great job!
