The idea with this card was that the aura was pushing the physical limitations of the affected creature well beyond the breaking point.

Plinian Blast

I tried to simulate the wake of blast, tearing into enemy after enemy. If it wasn't strong enough to kill a creature, then it wouldn't reach any other creatures.

Giant Plaguesnare

I wanted the flavor of this creature to convey the idea that, if it didn't kill you, it would lay you out for a while.
