In which I attempt a series of cards to explore the design space for counterspells, while restricting myself to using one-word card names. It's also very likely that I fail to find any more suitable names which have not already been used. As this is not a set, this thread is not posted in the subforum for sets.

So the way this is supposed to work, I assume, is that you counter two spells, of which one has to be your own.

Maybe rewrite it into "Counter target other spell you control, then counter target spell."

Not too sure about the Overload though... I mean, we got Counterflux already, so overloaded counterspells are not the most unexplored direction one could go.

Considered "target other spell", but it looks and sounds strange to me. I forgot that Counterflux existed with overload; the words "you don't control" reminded me of Cyclonic Rift first, and I mainly wanted a counterspell to have an option to be cast with UUUU. Perhaps I'll change it to something else.

Updated.
