This is a kind of group project I want to try out and see if it works on this site. Essentially, this will be the creation of our very own MCM Fan-Made Plane! I've set up a base story, a list of some needed cards for each color, and a card to start off with. When you post a card, please include a short paragraph that moves along the story that includes some aspect of your card. Here are the things each color needs:
 • 2 Legendary Creatures(One leader of a clan, one other.)
 • A signature Sorcery or Instant
 • A signature Enchantment
The setting is the plane of Karinod, a plane that has found itself in a lifelong war between it's five clans, each one taking complete hold of their respective color of mana. While their clan's villages and provinces grow, abundant in mana, the rest of the world is nearly dead from neglect and irresponsibility. Each clan has their own selfish desires to control all of the mana on the plane and they'll stop at nothing to destroy the others. The five clans consist of the Hondain(White) who want to establish a plane-wide governing system too secure and control the populous, the Luinrae(Green) who wish to reestablish nature in all areas, sacrificing civilization if need be, the the Wayous(Red) which desire to gain all resources for themselves so that their legacy can live on, the Quetine(Black) who want complete control of the land, reasons unknown, and the Zenkav(Blue) that see mana simply as a way to forward technology. The plane cannot exist for much longer under these conditions. What will Karinod's ultimate fate be?
And here's the first card to kick off the project! The non-leader Luinrae legendary!

G6OwcIW.jpgn a most peculiar Summer's day near Luinrae's empire of villages, a small meeting had been held earlier. Not much usually happened during these meetings, so there was no expectation for something exciting on this day, either. Nevertheless, the meeting went on, various speakers unleashing their points of view on the denizens of the clan. During a rather engaging argument of how the native creature could be used in future battles, a cloaked man walked upon the platform of the speech. He did not rush, taking short, steady steps towards his destination. When he had finally reached the top, he turned to the onlookers, all watching with close attention. And with the eyes of the clan's members upon him, the mysterious man asked one simple question. "Why must we keep fighting? What stops us from peace and diplomacy?" And with that, he reentered the crowd below, all of them realizing the answer to his question lied in the reflections.

i like this idea. i was going to propose one with a Scifi theme, but decided not to.

however, it would be nice to have some keywords to work with, a strategy for each color, ect.

I lean very Red on the color wheel so i was going to work on that, but the clan goal doesnt sound very ...red. :/ you could do something with treason cards, but red would be more about the combat against the clans for the sake of the fight. they wont really care about future generations, rather they would simply fight for what they can get.

this could be fun, and we could bring back the barbarian creature type. i dont know much about them though, so my balancing could be off.

I'm glad to see some interest in this project! Sorry I screwed up the Red clan. It's the color I play the least, so that probably has a little to do with it. I would actually be interested in what you'd suggest for Wayous' reasons for wanting all the mana.

As for keywords for each strategy, I suppose we'll have to identify each strategy first. I'll suggest some stuff later today or tomorrow.

I would love to do the black but only if I could take an evil slant to it, like most black cards.
