i was working on some of my private cards, when I thought of the Epic key wording.
Duplicate <cost>
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may pay <cost>. If you do, put a copy of this card onto the battlefield. You cannot cast spells this turn. (Spells cast before this resolves are unaffected)
Notes:
- <cost> is usually the cards casting cost. exception in rare, mythic, and special cards.
- Does stack with other resolutions of this ability. It is not a spell. A creature can be duplicated for as many as there are on the field. mana is the main limit, but you can still add at least one every turn.
- Works on enchantments, creatures, artifacts, and lands
- can be used on cards that are weaker, and could bypass the 4 card limit, without actually stating a relentless rats type ruling.
- recommended <cost>, 3-4+. ie: 1UR, 2BB, 4RR
Any thoughts?
Im really thinking the <cost> may need to be higher...
