3/0

Nivezzan Commando {2} {R/U} {R/U}

Ezelo, the Invulnerable {1} {W}

Legendary Creature - Human Warrior     Rare

Indestructible

Ezelo, the Invulnerable's power and toughness cannot go below 1. (if Ezelo's power or toughness would go below 1, it becomes 1 instead.)

1/1

Corpsetender Elf {G/B} {G/B}

Creature - Elf       Rare

Exile a creature from your graveyard: Add {G~B} to your mana pool.

1/1

For those of you wondering what {G~B} is, it is the symbol i came up with for a new type of mana introduced in this block: Fused Mana. Fused  mana is mana of two colors. It can be used to pay for spells of both colors, and qualifies as both types of mana when paying hybrid costs. One {G~B} could be used to pay {G}, {B}, or {G/B}, for example.  It is still one mana, though, and cannot be used to pay for two mana of each color. For example, {G~B} cannot be used to pay for {G}{B}.

Very creative with that Hybrid-Mana of yours; Somehow it reminds me of Hybrid-Mana, you know, that Mana that works just like yours but as an already existing mechanic^^

You are even using it in the casting cost of these cards; Is there a difference? Or are you just expanding the hybridcost-mechanic?

I was always wandering, why real cards like Godless Shrine state "add {w} or {b}" instead of just "add {w/b}". I appreciate your decisions.

Very good balancing on your cards, too. Not only that, but they are also very creative.

Maybe you should double the cost of both: The Corpsetender Elf, and Nivezzan Commando's ability.

Also, Nethmus needs a cut in power, maybe make him a 2/1 instead.

The Fused mana is mana that can be produced from lands and creature abilities. I did this to make the most of and expand on the already existing Hybrid mana. Fused mana isn't in  the casting cost of cards, it is mana that is created to cast spells. I don't think i put it in the casting costs of any of my cards, only Hybrid mana. (Fused mana is {G~B}, hybrid mana is {G/B}.) Hybrid mana cannot go into your mana pool, and is only used in spell costs.

For example, if you used {U~R} to pay for Nivezzan Commando's ability, both parts of the ability would activate because {U~R} qualifies as both red and blue mana.

But why would you create another symbol etc for it?

It's the same thing, just with expanded rules.

people would get confused if they saw hybrid mana going into your mana pool. Hybrid mana is only used in the costs of things, but Fused mana isnt; it is mana that goes into your mana pool from lands and mana abilities. i could have used the same symbol, but i didn't want people to get confused and bombard me with rulings and technicalities.

OBJECTION!

On the contrary: You would do everything BUT confuse players.

Classic Hybrid Mana only appears in casting costs, creating a slot that can be paid WITH either/or,

while your Hybrid Mana only appears as a resource within the manapool, that can be paid AS either/or.

It's basically just the missing expansion of the existing Hybrid-Mana, a logical conclusion, made by you.

I don't understand why we are arguing; Didn't I already say in the beginning, that I appreciate your design choices?

just clarifying my reasons in case they didn't seem clear, but you seem to fully understand it.

Thanks for the Feedback!

EDIT: Corpsetender elf now costs {G/B} {G/B}, Nivezzan commando is now a 2/2, and Nethmus is now a 3/0

For those of you wondering what {G~B} is, it is the symbol i came up with for a new type of mana introduced in this block: Fused Mana. Fused  mana is mana of two colors. It can be used to pay for spells of both colors, and qualifies as both types of mana when paying hybrid costs. For example, {G~B} cannot be used to pay for {G}{B}.

I really like the idea behind this, although you could argue that it is just {Color A/Color B} without having to choose immediately I think.

Nivezzan Commando is too strong, especially with hybrid mana. A 1-mana tap ability for just one thing between draw and 2 damage is already good (especially since there are very few things that cost one mana for one draw without an extra life/discard cost, not to mention this one is spammable because it's on a creature). This is basically a ping deck's wet dream. I'd add one mana to its cost and make it a mythic and/or legendary.

It's not directly spammable, since you have to tap it, but it IS too cost efficient.
