Land Creatures aren't spells. You don't cast them. See the original printing of Dryad Arbor to understand it a little more. I'd word its restriction as such:

"If Elder of the Root would enter the battlefield, pay GG instead. If you do, put Elder of the Root onto the battlefield. If you don't, put it into its owner's graveyard."

This effect is paraphrased from Lotus Vale to mimic an "additional cost" to playing a land as much as possible. It also prevents you from cheesing the effect by giving it haste and allowing you to tap for mana in response to the drawback or blocking the drawback with Torpor Orb or the like.

Last Request is an incredibly powerful pushing card. The additional cost is easily met if the game hasn't been one-sided. When we consider the other mass protection cards, a lot of them are 2W at minimum, and those tend to only grant protection from a color of your choice. If we dial this up to protection from everything, this would usually mean a bigger scale up in mana cost. Even with the additional cost of exiling a creature from your graveyard, I'd still put this card to 3WB or so.

Thanks for the review but what do you actualy think about Faceless?

Faceless seems fine, to be honest. Becoming the creature doesn't exactly trigger any further ETBs than what most flicker decks abuse.

New version of Last Request is iffy. Because the wording suggests that all players can't play more copies of the exiled creature, it can turn certain cards dead in cases of mirror matches. And in singleton formats this no-further-copies restriction is practically nonexistent.

Glimpse of Annihilation can be better phrased, akin to the Dimir grinding mill techniques:

"Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a nonland card. Send those cards to the graveyard, then Glimpse of Annihilation deals X damage divided amongst any number of target creatures and/or players, where X is the number of cards revealed this way."

That said, it's ridiculously inconsistent and I don't expect this to do any more than 2 to 3 damage without extensive stacking. Even in Commander this will only do a total of 25-30 damage max without modifiers.

Pinned Down is pretty fine.

I don't think you know what you're talking about it goes perfectly in this deck http://tappedout.net...rks-every-time/

Oh, sorry, I was thinking about your everyday applications in an average deck instead of silly builds like 99-Mountain-Ashling-EDH.

1. Faceless.

I like him for the fact that he removes his target for the turn this can really boggel up Wurmcoil engine but even more in something like Splinter Twin!. (Oh you wish to enchant that? I think its on vacation right now to bad ;)

2.Elder of the Root.

Not bad he is a weak land cause you can shot him and he is small i mean lightning bolt range. but he can tap for his own mana and that makes it a 2/2 for 1 but it cost you a land drop. I say if you want to make him a Rare give him Vigilance. (Green mana sorce with damage not bad.)

3.Pinned Down.

Well it do what it do, i want this big thing to hit your face and i want that thing to stay out of its way over all good card nice color combi.

4. Last Request.

There is one in mono white that do not remove a card from the grave yard and cost 1 mana if you pay 2 life phyrexia. i like how you made it require a creature to be exile due to the art and flavor. i think if you gave it like Split Secound. Then it can't be countered and it fits the flavor of the card like your last breath is in the split of a secound.

5. Glimpse of Annihilation.

You can make it 3 mana. But even so i still think it has a place, i mean "Sesmic Assault" into "Life From The Loam" with "Country Side Crusher" it fits like a glove. i mean how about that old farie deck that just mill lands and then throw in like 14 faries. yes they can hit again and again but they can't hit the turn they are played. this can so its for when that crazy retrace deck is missing the last hit ;)

6. Goblin Fire Dancer.

Nice art its good but 1 thing do make the sacrifice part of the cost or you might just shot for 5 and you got your 2 mana elf saying you can't be made to sacrifice permanents and then the pew pew is rolling. Might even make it so you can pay that mana to deal 5 damage just if it dies from anything.

7. Goblin Invocatus.

Balanced casue it han hit Goblin Guides but not Lords that give bonuses. it adds to the pressure and lack of card draw.

8. Vigorus Song.

I like it i mean there is already a card like that but the Goblin only cascade makes it fun and still not hit lords and thats balanced :D

9. Vambat

I like him i might not get that hige in mana but if your out of gas i play 1 of him in a R/G goblin but only 1 ;)

10. Mountain Dweller.

Oh hohoho the aplication with this guy and "Blood Moon" Will really kill the 2-3 color decks, its like a tiny "Fulminator Mage" he will most of the time pay but that means you lock his mana away and that hurts control.

11. Kavik

Like him Mountainwalk suits him, and his red buff is okay for letting "Goblin Lacky" and the sort in even "Goblin Pilediver" the last one is on the other hand nasty, it eats "Lurgoyf" "Dark Confidant" And "Meril Exiled Scout" Well it eats creature combo to breakfeast.

12. Goblin Necromancer.

Was just about to yell op but then he cost 4 phew. i was sure that he might just throw "Griselbrand's" and not goblins at me. but i hope for goblins ;)

13. Gieft of the Forgotten.

In the new Zendikar block i feel this is going to be good, both with or against. even if you run alot of flashback or "Path to Exile." It has a purpose.. but where ;D

Loved the cards 9/10 Champ. Sorry for long post ;)

Regards Aztegio.

I find Furgam Necromancer to still be particularly powerful, but what keeps it from going overboard is the fact that the creature you reanimate doesn't get haste and thus can't attack right off the bat.

Still, I don't fancy being able to just pay 1 measly mana and trade my 2/2 for a creature with a wicked powerful ETB effect.

It's somthing to think about maby give it the Goblin Cascade treatment, and make it only able to target Goblins.

Raptors of hatevoid is a broken card. An example of how broken it is, starting hand of four raptors, a giant growth, a forest and a mountain. Turn 1 swing for 11 using raptors and giant growth. Opponet has turn, plays maybe one blocker. Turn two draw impact tremors, opponent down to five swing and get 6 in. Obviously thats a perfect draw scenario but it does lend itself scarily to monstrous turn 1 plays especially paired with goblin guide. I would definitely get rid of the first strike and probably the phyrexian mana, otherwise it is completely broken, especially if it was in a figurative sealed pool.

sorry read it wrong, I thought it exiled after attacking then popped back every attack step. Instead its more like meandering towershell therefore not as innately broken.

Yes, yes, I approve of Sea Singer being an on-demand Quest for Ula's Temple.

On the other hand this feels so much like Elvish Piper it becomes a little bit terrifying.
