We did infact make them more balanced by saying that they don't untap naturely. Then they run out of gas but funktions to ramp hard early.

These with my lovely little Yi Tian would be especially broken, take your untap lands untap them multiple times each turn turn seven hard cast emrakul or something. Still not as broken as Tolarian academy though so good job with that Aztegio.

Maybe make them pain lands sort of, as in, whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control you may untap X, if you do lose 2 life.

Good idea, cause i saw one turn we did.

The Green Land Above -> 1/1 Elf says you may put a land from your hand into play -> then you put down a green fetch land and the first land untaps. -> You then tap the land for 1 green mana fetch another of the green lands tap them both -> play Cultivate -> gain 1 land on hand 1 on the table both of the lands untap play "Explore" draw a card and play a ekstra landNow you got 2 green mana open tap play the ekstra land tap for now 4 mana fetch gain 3 more now you got 7 mana you hard cast Prime Titan and gain 2 lands.... do i need to keep going? i think not.

Yeah that sounds fun, at least thats one way to make green a control deck. I now have infinite options turn 3 or something, pass turn. Still, it must be good to have a playtest group willing to use your homebrew cards. I don't even have a playgroup let alone a group to test my card designs.

These feel on par with Lotus Cobra. Not only are they fetchable and strictly better than the usual Basics, but the "free mana" you attain doesn't expire as you change phases until you actually tap that land for mana.

At minimum, I want these cards to ETB tapped, or lose their basic land types.

I think it could actually work if they were legendary, and say "whenever *another* land enters the battlefield under your control you may pay one life, if you do, untap this land." If you do that, you might want to give the hall of champions a specific, proper name. Maybe Krago's Hall of Champions?

I also noticed a couple of typos in the flavor texts. On the island, 'none' is missing the 'e.' As far as the swamp goes, 'do' should be 'does', I personally would take out 'that', and the second 'matter' should have an 's' on the end. I hope you find this helpful. By the way, that artwork is beautiful.

Thank you for that feed back yes, we don't make the mlegendary but we are going to make them pain lands that cost life to trigger. and change the untap to may.

We are going to make them pain lands the land type is one of the great strengths of them in constructed, I'm not quite ready do discard that.

The way they're written right now, they will trigger themselves when they enter the battlefield. This allows the player to tap it in response, then let it untap, then tap it again. To fix this, I suggest adding one word, 'another.' If you write it as 'whenever another land enters' they won't trigger themselves. I tend to find ridiculous ways to exploit the wording on certain cards. (I sacrifice Ordeal of Nylea to either Claws of Gix or Perilous *Research*, still getting the effect.)

I was sure i was safe from that kinda thing when i used the build in function of "Landfall" guess not.
