First one seems a bit... overkill at first. But then Vampires have like 2 or 3 consistent creatures from what I've seen and played.

 

Second one just feels... useless? For one more you could destroy a creature or summon something stronger.

Rosanel is a card I like. A lot. Its cost is perfect, it's payoff is perfect, and it still keeps itself vulnerable. It's easily the best designed card I've seen on this forum. This shall be my first 10/10.

 

The second, sadly, doesn't impress me. I mean, it's fine and all, but it's pretty useless really. That being said, I'm sure uses could be found for it, but I think people would just use vampires with alternative Enchantments. It's not badly made, per say, just an extremely underwhelming card, even with its low cost. 5/10

Rosanel is pretty cool. I like that it's a lord that doesn't have to give a pump. This is an area that R&D has been exploring more recently, and I like it. Also, as mentioned above, it's weak enough that it isn't overpowered. The second card I could easily see giving at least +2/+1, a la Unholy Strength, but even this hasn't been as good lately, so they've made things like Deviant Glee. For a 2 life payment, which most players will see and immediately be skeptical about, it should most likely give +2/+2 or a little more.

I personally think all vampires are broke as hell. Rosanel of Bloodlust is badass enough as it is, but then combine it with Vampire Nocternus and all our vampires are Nighthawks. I was going to say you should make it cost more, but i dont even think that will save it from making an already broke creature type even more broke.

They're pretty decent on the kitchen table when you can use all the good ones ever printed. But no good in constructed, as far as I know. Olivia Voldaren's sweet, but that's pretty much it. Oh, and Nighthawk of course. =)
