I know this sounds dumb, but I honestly have no clue how to play this game.  I know the very very basic rules of the game, but there's still a lot I'm unclear on.  I clicked on this link from Yugioh Card Maker, and I know that Yugioh is based of of MTG, but I still don't really know much.  I think that there should be a topic that teaches you the basics of MTG along with a couple OCG terms.  I think that this would help a lot.

 

To be honest, if I knew more of how to play, I could actually make a couple cards.  Just saying.

I actually learned how to play from a video game. Pretty pathetic, I know.

I wouldn't say it's pathetic at all. Not everyone has access to tons of cards to build decks with in RL. I've played tons of YGO games myself, and I would play a Magic game in a heartbeat if it was geared towards more advanced players. Duels of the Planeswalkers just isn't fun to me, as you can't just build decks, which is probably my favorite part of the game.
