The proper scripture would be
"Creature - Human Assassin (or whatever it is)
When Silent Ninja enters the battlefield, add {w} to your manapool."
Furthermore, since this card features two different manasymbols in its cost, it would have a golden border (fabulous!).
Other than that, this is both a very basic but strong card, allowing for some nice turn 2 plays, especially since this is 1/2, making it a rather strong early blocker.
The only complaint, or criticism, I can give is its flavor.
To remind you:
"Flavor, the: Both the possible immersion a card offers a player into its source material, as well as a way of 'measuring' how well a card reflects the original feel of its source material/converts it into a MtG equivalent."
The first thing I would think of Ninjas is neither White, nor mana-increase, thats more on green, occasionally in red and black and not THAT much ninja specific, especially if its governing attribute is to be "silent".
Silent fits fore into First-Strike, can not be blocked, maybe haste or landwalk of your choice etc.

Its easy once you get a rough idea of it, maybe browse through some real cards to get the consistency?
This way you would learn the keyworded mechanics at the same time.

this also is a card that has been outplayed and adding mana in white is not very usual adding mana is more something you'll see more in green
