The flavor text honestly says it all, really.
Ah, Hellions, perhaps one of the most hardcore creature types in existence. Here's hoping for more Hellions in the future!
WHY YES I DO RUN BLUE BLACK IS IT THAT NOTICEABLE? In any case, this card was developed around the art, and since there's no fitting equivalent to Anubis in Magic, I just kind of went with it. Oh well. Art's amazing.
Indeed it is. Something fun for the Simic to toy around with, I'd imagine.
Behold, the bane of monocolor decks. I know that lands don't have an innate color, but I made it destroy only nonland permanents in order to prevent any Painter's Servant shenanigans. Also, note that it doesn't destroy itself, since it activates when it's cast (so it's not a permanent yet).
This one was fun. Since Demons rarely branch out to other colors (and never to white), I decided to remedy that with the most unnerving white/black concept ever. It's ripping out creature's skeletons and animating them, for crying out loud! And, it also fits both colors: it cares about the community, because a bigger community means more skeletons for itself.
An interesting idea regarding copiers that I haven't seen before in Magic. Was a little difficult to nail the flavor, but I think it came out pretty well.
