So I had this idea the other day.  Why not bring back titan-esque cards in the core set? They were liked but they were just too dominant.  So why not try again with a lower power level?

Primeval Disciple

2GG

Whenever Primeval Disciple enters the battlefield or attacks, search your library for one land card and put it on the battlefield, tapped.

3/3

Inferno Disciple

2RR

Whenever Inferno Disciple enters the battlefield or attacks, Inferno Disciple deals 2 damage to target creature or player.

3/3

Frost Disciple

2UU

Whenever an opponent casts a spell, if it is the first spell of the turn, counter it unless they pay 1

3/3

Grave Disciple

2BB

Whenever Primeval Disciple enters the battlefield or attacks, put a 2/2 zombie creature token onto the battlefield

3/3

Sun Disciple

2GG

Whenever Primeval Disciple enters the battlefield or attacks, return a nonland-permanent with cmc 1 or less to the battlefield

3/3

I like the idea, but it's pretty boring. It's only a basic rehash of what's already been done.

Indeed, it would make sense but then, WOTC doesn't like using the same idea that glaringly obviously, except for a few times.
