Are we just hoping people will click on that button over at YCM?

So how is this community going to grow?

I am sure with a cardmaker, many people will be googling this and will fin the site. It will take time, but I expect this to become just as big as YCM.

When this site does become big, lets hope that our new admin doesn't become inactive like YCMaker.

I have it bookmarked next to YCM, so that when YCM is dead, I'll come here and actually have a reason to lurk.

Or like how the original cardmaker did? Searching "[Subject] CardMaker". If the quality is well enough it'll get views.

Let us make this our own before new people come. We need to make this our second home~

Personally I'd rather as few YCM members as possible started migrating here and turning into the same crapfest.
Personally, I have a preference for forum content of remotely decent quality and not a bunch of spam.

I will probably stick around YCM more. My GF says she will be more active on MTG so I guess we will separate ourselves into those quadrants.

First things first, I suppose I should put some tutorials in this forum, probably make my own basic deckbuilding FAQ, and advertise more, and we should be set for growing.

Someone should make detailed video tutorials as well.

Rod, to save time on a whole deck building FAQ, one could just watch Chapin's video on it from he Magic Cruise.

And since you want to do so much, I could easily do a deck building FAQ if it's still wanted, if you want. I do spend most of my MTG time designing decks, after all.

That would be appreciated, Chris.
It's important to have our own, self made guide instead of stealing one from somewhere else.

I'll likely get to work on one around the weekend then, or whenever I have some spare time in the week.
