I used to play Yugioh extensively as a young lad, then it got more advanced and stuff and...I stopped. I just consider myself retired. Duel Masters was awesome and I don't see why it died.
As for regular card games, I'm OK at them. My uncle, on the other hand, is like a god at them.

Couple of friends actually got back on the Yugioh train so that might become relevant to my life again
tbh, my deck was horrible irl, and was primarily just mixed and matched for some stall but never really had a finish
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT
IT HAD BLUE EYES
AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS
also, I'm a blackjack/bs god on the side so maybe we can start up a high stakes game sometime

Followed yugioh competitively since the beginning and played it as such for almost 2 years I think, maybe not that long.
Started playing MTG late last August and been trying to basically make my technical play and deckbuilding flawless since. Still working on it, but I believe I'm doing well for the relatively short time I've been playing.
Play poker (without real bets, since y'know illegal 'n' shit, just small stuff that no one really cares about) with friends on occasion. Might do it properly every now and then when I'm older, but I would never make a habit out of gambling. I'd be more likely to duel for stakes than to gamble entirely.

That game is the shit.
I'm always down to play games with a normal deck of cards whether it's Go Fish, BS, Blackjack, even War.
Yu-Gi-Oh! will always have a special place in my heart, but only for casual play. The meta changes things up too much for my tastes and I'm not at all suited for deck building. The couple decks that I managed to make had help from someone else. And I haven't played on DN in ages, I pretty much only play against my friend Cortez with our old decks a couple times a year.
Magic the Gathering has recently peaked my interest, however. Everyone in my main group of friends has gotten into it and they all have their own decks, and my friend Cortez is into it as well. My deck isn't so good right now, but luckily I have a friend with an extensive collection, so I'm hoping to trade and upgrade what I've got later this weekend.
Oh, and getting more of a feel for the game. I think I've got the basic gist on how to play now, I just need to develop a player's instinct and be able to formulate strategies.

Other than Magic, it's been a while since I've played most other card games. I'm a fan of many variations of Solitaire (I know like twelve or fifteen of them), poker on very rare occasions, pinochle, cribbage, rummy, rat, Munchkin, etc. I've played quite a bit of YGO but haven't kept up with it for some years now. I occasionally bust out my collection and make my brother play with me, because it is pretty fun, but I just can't stay interested in it. It's not nearly as dynamic and rewarding as Magic in my opinion. Other TCG's I've played include Pokemon, Digimon, Duel Masters, and Neopets off the top of my head.

Well, I know about the Agents, and the Crystal Beasts only vaguely, as I stopped playing around the time GS was getting popular. Elemental Eternity? Or some such? I've always enjoyed the 'classic' Fiend, Dragon, Spellcaster, etc. decks. Currently building beginner decks to teach my little brother his first trading card game. He's tinkered with Pokemon and the like but doesn't know how to play correctly.
Also, I used to have a 100 card 'Good Stuff' deck, and I kicked some major butt with it. Somehow. =P

I'm pretty much tired with Yugioh. Too repetitive and the playerbase seems to complain a lot. I've recently taken an interest in Vanguard, Kaijudo, and the Power Rangers CGs. Just bought an Oracle Think Tank trial recently.
EDIT: Also, I like that the Power Ranger CG staff regularly talk with players on their FB page and even take suggestions for future sets.
EDIT 2: Even if they do give terrible advice on countering power cards.
